Wild Wise Sooke
A volunteer-run, community-based educational program designed to reduce human-wildlife conflict and promote coexistence through awareness and education. We originally started in Sooke with some support from the District of Sooke and with our primary focus being on reducing human-bear conflicts.

Sooke Harbourside Lions Club (Women’s)
What: Sooke Harbourside Lions is a group of service-minded women with varying interests and
backgrounds. The Club was created by a group of women who had been in the Sooke District
Lioness Club. By forming the new Lions Club, receiving its Charter in 2003, members had the full
benefits as LIONS, under the largest service organization in the World, Lions Club International
(LCI).
