After a short hiatus, SCWW is to resume in January until June 2023. This free online informational and social series takes place through zoom but may be joined by phone as well.
Guest speakers:
- Isobel Makenzie, BC Seniors Advocate - Updates on Seniors Issues
- BC CRN - Prevention of Elder Abuse series
- Family Caregivers of BC providing informational resources for family caregivers
- Marla Ilo, Digital Coordinator, Victoria Literacy Connection (VLC) - free digital support tutoring program
- Linda Hunt is returning to present four sessions about Aging Gracefully on the second Wed. of the month/
- Pharmasave's pharmacists will contribute with a series on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. Topics to be announced.
- Layton Engwer will host "Men's Talk", where men can shoot the breeze with their peers. Topics to be determined on an ongoing basis. Sessions will be on the first and third Wednesday of the month.
- Handicraft show and tells to be held on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

For those who still do not feel comfortable with zooming and using digital tools in general, you can drop-in at the SRCHN office on Jan 10 and 13th from 10:30am - 2:30pm. A VLC volunteer will help to get you started. Other future digital support sessions may be arranged upon request.
